    Layout Changes and Islands

Kitchen work in Roseville often starts under the sink. A dishwasher line or faucet supply drips for months, the particleboard cabinet floor soaks it up, and one morning the bottom gives way. A kitchen remodel in Roseville that skips that step just sets new cabinets on a wet floor.

We are a maintenance and remodeling crew, so we fix the source first and then talk about what else the kitchen needs. A lot of 1990s and 2000s Roseville kitchens still have the original oak cabinets with tile or laminate counters. Some of those boxes are worth refacing and some are done. Licensed CA #1135543, B General Building. Call or text (916) 389-1796, Monday through Friday, 8 to 6.

Kitchen repairs and remodels we handle in Roseville

    Leak damage and cabinet repair

We shut off and fix the leak, cut out the soaked cabinet floor and any soft subfloor, dry it out, and rebuild the sink base so it matches the run. If the damage stopped at one cabinet, that is often the whole job.

    Refacing or new cabinets

Solid cabinet boxes can take new doors, drawer fronts and hardware for a lot less than a full tear-out. When boxes are swollen, sagging or laid out badly, new cabinets make more sense, and we tell you which camp yours fall into.

    Countertops and backsplash

Quartz, stone and solid-surface tops are templated after the cabinets are set and level, so seams stay tight and the sink sits right. Tile backsplash goes in last. Text us a photo of your current counters and we can talk options before the visit.

Opening the layout and adding an island

Many Roseville floor plans put a wall between the kitchen and the family room. We check whether it carries load, plan the beam if it does, and move plumbing or gas for an island sink or range when the new layout calls for it.

City of Roseville permits and Roseville Electric

Roseville handles its own building permits through the City’s Online Permitting Services (OPS) portal, apart from Placer County and Sacramento. New cabinets and counters in the same layout often need little or no permit work. Moving walls, plumbing or gas lines, or adding circuits does.

Roseville also runs its own electric utility. If your new appliance list means a larger electrical service, Roseville Electric has to approve the panel change before the City will issue that permit, and that approval takes a few working days. We build it into the schedule early so cabinets don’t sit in the garage waiting on paperwork.

    Roseville neighborhoods we work in

We remodel kitchens across 95661, 95678 and 95747, including Stoneridge, Johnson Ranch, Crocker Ranch and Westpark, plus rentals throughout town. Older central Roseville kitchens sometimes hide plumbing updates behind the cabinets. Newer west-side kitchens usually need finish upgrades more than rebuilds.

    Set up a kitchen visit

Open the sink cabinet, take a photo of the floor inside, and send it with a wide shot of the kitchen. That tells us most of what we need before we come out. Call or text (916) 389-1796 or send the form above.

If you move walls, plumbing or gas, or add circuits, yes. Those permits go through the City of Roseville OPS portal. New cabinets and counters in the same layout often need little or no permit work. We confirm it on the walkthrough.

Usually. If the water stayed in one cabinet and the subfloor is sound or repairable, we rebuild the sink base and match it to the rest of the run. We check the neighboring cabinets and floor first so nothing is left wet.

Cabinets, layout changes and countertop material drive the number most. Moving plumbing or gas, or adding a panel upgrade, adds to it. We price your kitchen line by line after the visit.

Sometimes, especially with an induction range or a second oven. If your service needs to get bigger, Roseville Electric approves the change before the City issues the permit. We find out early so it doesn't hold up the job.

Call or text (916) 389-1796 Monday through Friday, 8 to 6, or use the form on this page. A photo inside the sink cabinet and one of the full kitchen help. Estimates are free.
